On 1st October 2019 we have signed an agreement for the takeover of AGUTI Produktentwicklung & Design GmbH by ALOIS KOBER GMBH.
Aguti Produktentwicklung & Design GmbH will furthermore trade under the existing name and will run as an independent unit within AL-KO Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH.
The trademark Aguti will continue in its existing form as product brand under the umbrella brand AL-KO Fahrzeugtechnik. The company structure with all its previous partners will remain unchanged. Andreas Grieger, company founder and Managing Director, as well as Sebastian Janssen, Managing Director, will keep their key functions.
The future owner rates the long-term experience as well as the profound knowledge of our staff as a valuable completion of the product and performance portfolio in the group of AL-KO companies. Since 2016 AL-KO is part of the DexKo-Group who is the world-leading manufacturer of axes and chassis components in the light construction segment.
With this strategic step Aguti opens a new chapter in its company history. AGUTI will have with AL-KO a very competent and financially strong partner who has an extensive knowledge in the recreational vehicle industry as well as a very good international sales network.
Under these conditions we look forward to continue an unchanged and trusting relationship with all our customers, suppliers and productions sites.
